Native to the Mediterranean where it is traditionally practiced, fishing with the longline is a technique consisting of hanging several baited hooks and regularly spaced.
Originally, it was hand-made using a line wrapped around the “palangrotte”: a cork plate. Now it is more practiced with a rod and a reel, which makes it more pleasant and allows the fish to be raised much more quickly. This fishing technique is adapted to all ages and all levels which make it perfectly friendly and family friendly. This technique is practiced with a very versatile line, and this is its prime advantage. It will be able to receive many hooks, of different sizes, in order to look for various sizes or species of fish.
During a session with Tempo Fishing Club, you can practice longline fishing in several contexts: fishing in a spirit of relaxation, a little rest after experiencing more sporting techniques, etc.
